Club bouncers attacks artiste at nightclub

Violence ensued when one of the club security officers pushed the artiste as he tried to exit the VIP section of the club.

MSN Gang label artiste, Oritsefemi was reportedly assaulted by a group of bouncers at Quilox nightclub, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The incident occurred on Friday, November 11, 2016 following an altercation with one of the club bouncers.

According to reports, the artiste was hanging out at the VIP section of the club when he noticed one of the club security personnel trying to restrict the duo of Sound Sultan and Rocksteady from joining the VIP.

He reportedly made attempts to intercede for the stars explaining to the club official that the pair, being A-list artistes should be allowed to enter.

His request was however  denied as the security officer insisted that they won't be allowed in based on an instruction from the management.

He was advised to join the regular section since he was keen about hanging out with his colleagues.

In his attempt to do this, the club bouncer allegedly pushed him back, and was soon rough handled by another club official who joined in the fracas.

Oritsefemi, who was holding a glass of wine at the time reportedly slapped one of the bouncers with it in defense.

This left a scar on his face, forming the genesis of a full scale violence at the nightclub.

A video capturing the event saw the club security officials drag off the artiste while people present at the once drama free nightclub echoed that he be released.
