Why I starved, chained my son – Pastor

Francis Taiwo, a Celestial Church of Christ minister who starved and kept his nine-year-old child in chains for quite a long time, has been captured.


The 40-year-old minister was secured by the police from the Onipanu division on Sunday at his congregation CCC, Key of Joy Parish – in Ajibawo, Atan, in the Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area of Ogun State.



Police sources said that Francis may be accused of endeavored murder, among different offenses, after the fulfillment of examination.

Francis, a father of five who hails from Benin Republic, admitted to the demonstration in his announcement to the police, including that Korede's mom was late.


He said, "I was appointed a minister in the CCC in 2012. I had separated two spouses, including Korede's mom, Maria; she is late at this point. She had four kids for me – two young men and two young ladies – before she separated me in 2007 after she brought forth Korede. I affixed Korede in light of the fact that he is controlled. A malevolent soul makes him to take. He needs deliverance. His kin are not living with me."


An inhabitant, who recognized himself just as Elijah, said Francis had been cautioned on a few events against unleashing brutality on the casualty.


He said, "His dad has been binding him for as far back as six months. He would chain him for a considerable length of time and discharge him. His grouse is that Korede takes and flees from home and he supposes a soul is controlling the youngster. He once took him to a stream in chains for deliverance."


The Ogun State police representative, SP Muyiwa Adejobi, said the case had been exchanged to the tyke work unit of the summon for examination.


"The case has been exchanged to the Anti-Human Trafficking and Child Labor Unit of the summon for important examination and activities as coordinated by the Assistant Inspector-General of Police responsible for zone 2, AIG Abdulmajid Ali," he said.
